Hello i have a mate that would like the net in her room, shes on wanado braodband and i suggested wireless.

So here is where i need your help i need a good wireless adsl modem router with like a free wireless adaptor that has some pretty good range and is reletivly cheap.

Any tips on what to avoid and what to consider?

netgear are popular i have the rangemax adsl router hub which is pretty good - but unlikely you will get a free pci / usb wireless card

Look through OCUK's networking wireless packages

Does she want to use a laptop or desktop wirelessly?

Belkin seemed naff from my experience, never had a problem with linksys really, and get a pcmcia card if its a laptop, or an internal wireless card if its desktop, my preferance over USB dongles, USB never seemed to work aswell for me !
