Hello!

slack as I am I'm back for help - I'm the proud owner of a Zalman CNPS7700-CU Ultra-Quiet CPU Cooler, and a MSI NEO-V Motherboard, but I cannot use my spangly new Heatsink. Why? Because of the location of the CPU socket when I have the heatsink on it won't fit in my case as it's not got any clearance at all.

(this is a bummer)

So I'm looking at cases, and looking at the pictures of most cases and judging by the distance between the slot in the back for the I/O ports and the proximity of the socket I'm a bit worried that I might go for a case which will have the same problem..

So - anyone here got the abovementioned Hs/F and what cases have you got? Can you let me know how much spare space you have?

I'm looking at getting a Thermaltake Soprano.

Any input would be most appreciated!

Isn't it more of a problem with the mobo layout? The backplate isn't gonna move much between cases AFAIK.
Anyway, using a MSI K8N-SLI Platinum, mine has fitted perfectly in both the cheapy generic ATX case & the V1000+ the system is in now.
