some items can't be shown as there isn't enough room on start menu

i keep getting a messge when i first start up my computer and click on the start menu. I can't remember the exact words buts its eomthing along the lines of the title of this thread.

Now this appeared yesterday when i was uninstalling and installing MySQL and Apach server so i tihnk one of them are the cause of this, though i don't know which.

i defienlty have enough room to show all the programs listed as its not even taking up 1/10 of the space.

what am i to do to sort this?

Properties/Start Menu/Customize then select "small icons" in order to fit more on?

lol, that's the only possible solution I can think of atm.

thanks for the quick reply but like i said there is plenty of room, plus i already had that option ticked a long long time ago
