Hi all,
Just bought a Sony Vaio PCG-K415B off a mate for and it has a few problems with it.
The most annoying is the fan noise, it howls like a vacuum cleaner and gets uber hot, if its left on the desk on firefox or something it will overheat and crash (fan noise is constantly loud). Shall i open it up and give it a blasting with canned air?
Secondly its a celeron D and its incredibly slow, im wondering what socket type it is so i know what kind of cpu i can upgrade it to? I'm hoping i can upgrade it to a p4m if possible.
The battery life on it is terrible, so i'll need to buy a new one of those too.
