I mounted the tripod on the back seat with a leg in each footwell and then focused it in, put all the settings in and then drove off and fired the camera using a remote.

It was my first try at this and I must admit I'm over the moon with the results :D

Good work, the first one is my favourite. All on a £300 DSLR too, proof you don't need ££££ to make great images :)

SOme nice trail lights but if I may criticise, I think the compositions for the outdoor shots could be better. THe lead-in lines don't seem to take the eyes to anything in particular.

I saw that on flickr last night and did wonder if it was saltash tunnel, i take it its now open lol ? was supposed to be shut from june untill october ???

Its gdynia way thats shut not the tunnel :)

Are you sure ? I was last in plym at night about a week and a half ago, and the tunnel was shut and i had to go through saltash. My cars ran out of tax and just been MOT'd (passed first time, yay) so no idea if its open or not at the moment.

I am looking for a DSLR myself. So confused biy them all. People tell me the Canon 450D is a good buy or i should go for the Nikon D5000. When i have asked about the D3000 they have said to buy something better!!

Your shots are first class mate! How can you better them!!

I read loads of reviews and from what I found the Canon 450D and Nikon D3000 were always the best and theres not a lot in it between them. I watched lots of youtube videos as well including the camera labs review.

I can understand why people would say go for the D5000 as it always makes sense to get the best you can afford and I believe it does have some newer tech in it but at the end of the day I wanted an entry level DLSR and I think the D3000 fits the bill perfectly.
