As it was nice weather the other day here in sunny London and I had my camera with me I thought I'd try my hand at some architectural type pics during my lunchtime. Well, it seems 28mm isn't quite wide enough, ho-hum. Anyway this is what I got. Comments and criticism always welcome, one needs to learn ... :p

Where are the last 2 from?

There is a new office complex built in Spitalfields I stumbled across the other day (off Bishopsgate). I think it's the same area that Rich Day has in his sig.

As Colin said, camera is Finepix s9500.

The rest don't cut it for me I'm afraid, need a little ps work done, I think they would look better if u made it more symetric on 5 and 6.

Yes they probably do need a little bit more PS work. They were worked on very quickly and are inconsistent to work as a series. Think of them as a collection of individual shots ;) Perhaps I should take a bit more care before posting but I quite liked these and wanted to get opinions. I have tried 5 and 6 with a square crop but I don't think it worked as well. Personally I prefer 6's crop to 5. I will have a fiddle.

2 is nice but i can see the noise and that puts me off... sorry

Hmm I can barely see the noise on no.2 here on my monitor at work, I'll have a look when I get home tonight. Perhaps they would benefit from a run through Noiseware. And please don't be sorry to give criticism, that's why I posted them :)

Cheers,

Looking at the image again at home I can see what you mean. I reprocessed the shot, used Noiseware and smart sharpen instead of USM and got the following result which is sharper, has much less noise and is a smaller file size.

So I'd just like to say thanks for feedback like this, it makes me go back to see how I can improve what I've done and is exaclty what I'm looking for :D
