Hi ya, following from this thread (HEREhttp://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=17759950) i felt i learnt a little and i really enjoyed taking these at the weekend. I will get some printed as they are friends. These were all taken with the kit lense and also this is the first time i shot in RAW and had to edit them all afterwards. I even dabbled at panning :D . Im starting to really like this camera.

Anyway, i would appreciate any comments, i have tried to include some pics with different angles in (well as far as i could anyway). I hope my processing is ok, this is the first time i have really put the effort in.

youve got nice colours on these pictures, they are clear shots also :)
how did you find the panning? i havent tryed taking pics of moving objects with my 400D yet :)

Thanks sunlitsix, the panning was ok but from what i managed, i realise it will take some practice to get the hang of it. It sounds easy; just follow the bike at a lower shutter speed, but i find it actually hard to get the results that some can get. Ill get one processed tomorrow and see how it turns out.

The track is called Lyng, and its near (or in) Norfolk. Its a brilliant track.

A definite improvement I think! Really like these - think you've done really well. 1 seems a little out of focus on the foreground rider else that'd be my favourite by far. 7's my next best fav.

I'm not usually one to post in the Photography section of the forums, but these photos really appealed to me. Good job my friend, they have a real nice look and colour to them. :)

Thanks allot for the kind comments. It makes me even more keen on learning. Im well chuffed with what i got and these are the best i have ever managed so far.

I showed these photos to a friend who is into photogaphy, and he has give me some pointers. Only little differences but i will try to incorporate them next time i take some shots (probably not long). Things like background objects in the way and bike/rider positioning, sky colouring etc.

Ill take another look through the ones i got and see if i got any decent panning ones.

One question, do you like the borders i put on or is it a little too bold ?
