Hi everyone,

I have posted something like this before, but I am in need of some advice!

Anyway, here is my current setup;

3x Minolta 7000 bodies. Two of these are 100% working. One is faulty; lets in light, autofocus doesn't lock, and sounds really squeeky to the point of annoyance. £90 repair job (so won't bother) I ended up spending £64 on those two 100% bodies and that 35-105mm lens.

These are my Minolta lenses: 35-105mm f/3.5-f/4.5, 70-210mm f/4, 50mm f/1.7, plus I have a Centon flashgun with a guide number of 30 at ISO 100.

I have the following Canon stuff:

Canon EOS 300, 80-200mm f/4.5-5.6 non-USM lens, 28-80mm f/3.5-f/4.5 USM lens. (cheap stuff, I have not spent more than £140 on this lot over the past year) Although it wouldn't hurt me if I sell this lot and make some loss on it, it's only cheap stuff, and my Minolta get's all the use.

Now, this is the dilemna:

I need a lens with more reach than 200mm.

I'm very close to buying a 70-300mm Sigma lens on a Canon mount.

Although, I wouldn't particularly mind going for some Minolta gear - namely a 5D or 7D body and a newer Dynax 7 film body as well as a teleconverter.

Of course, not all at once, at the moment I have the budget for a teleconverter and possibly a Dynax 7, but not a digital body just yet.

It's going to cost a fair bit to get Canon stuff - as I am looking to get a 30V body, a 300D, 350D or 20D body, that 70-300mm and a wideangle and prime. I want to replace my plastic lenses because they're not all that great.

I need to buy a new tripod aswell fairly soon, since my one broke (another cheap job!).

So what do you reckon is the best thing to do in my situation?

All help greatly appreciated!
