When I did my PHD the lab purchased a 10K state of the art slow-mo caera. t shot black and whit, a 640x480, was grainy and soft as hell

Incredible that a camera of this size is capable of this. The cost is eye watering though, I can't myself ditching my RX100mk3 for it any time soon.

It's amazing how fast technology is progressing!

I did note how all the footage in the vid above is shot outdoors in excellent light, probably still has a ways to go before getting decent indoor footage on a camera like this. Still mighty impressive though!
