Some new cases for your perusal

F7C and F1C are direct Wesena copies.

The FC8 looks like a cd rack.

The FC5 however I could live with apart from the unproven cooling.

I would rather OcUK stocked Wesena cases over these.

Edit. They even sell a 150W Pico-PSU and slim drives come on that can't be legal.

Even the pictures on their website are the same as the Wesena website.

seem to be a good £20 cheaper though...hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I thought the origenAE cases had the displays on the front .
these are also a fair a lot cheaper than OrigenAE, and a bit cheaper than Wesena
 
It is only the Origen M10 that looks like the F7C/ITX7 but with an LCD screen rather than the front ports.

If they are the exact same price and it is all legal and above board then I know which case my HTPC is going in.

Can someone find the catalogue that these are from? If the companies are buying them in and selling them on without adding any extras then they are probably available dirt cheap direct from the manufacturer.
 
Ye yous are right. Thought there were more cases that overlapped than just that one.

I've seen the basic frame pop up several times though with different brands, so it's likely that it's from some Asian OEM manufacturer. Not sure how to go about finding out though...
 
the website says wesena aswell so they must belong to the same parent company..
I would be tempted by the FC08..if I hadnt just bought a wesena. the only difference seems to be the ODD eject position and the price.

That is good to know, seems a bit more legit. I would love to see some builds in the FC5.

I imagine the FC5 would be fine for running XBMC Live with an SSD, no games or anything just pure streaming?
 
The FC5 with some sort of ION board for VDPAU would make a killer XBMC streaming server. I can't see it being cheap with a 'custom' cooling solution integrated though. It's a shame they didn't make it solely ITX though - however if you've got a Blu-ray/DVD player already it would be a similar size to that.

F7C, is this equivalent to Wesena ITX7 or ITX7-2?

What's the difference between these two Wesena cases anyway? The ITX7 can be had a lot cheaper than the ITX7-2.
