Some Noob Vista Questions

I'm currently running XP Pro but have a copy of Vista Home Basic to upgrade to.

How does the performance of the Home Basic Vista compare to XP Pro - will I miss any significant features and will it be quicker?

Am I correct in saying the 32 bit Home Basic supports 4gb RAM?

Thanks for the comments.

Judging by your specs you'd be best off with a 64-bit version of Vista.

I was given a copy of Home Basic 32 bit so I'm not really up for buying a new 64 bit version.


I think I may give the Home Basic a try if it uses more of my RAM than XP Pro.

In terms of gaming, browsing internet and watching films, the Home Basic should be just as good as XP Pro though?
