need some info to where am going wrong or missed. am no expert but know so much.
right i can oc ok using the xmp profile and am quite stable even up to 5.2
but am happy with 4.9 at 1.42 vcore and temps are ok .but i have found that by using the xmp profile the vcore @ 1.42 will not drop while idle but the multiplyer will drop down to 1.6 there abouts.
so over the last few day's i have been trying to oc using the offset method
so far my off set is +0.65 and according to cpu-z the vcore is at 1.42
and the temps are ok and all prime stable for over 6-8 hrs.
now the only problem i get is if i turn the pc off for a few hrs upon starting it always freeze up when i get the windows logo.
anyone could helps out in what is cousing this, have i missed some settings out. if i restart back into the bios and change back to xmp profile all is ok
