I'm looking to buy the Lian Li PC-7+ SE and i have a few questions...

Will the PC-61 Side window panel will fit straight onto it? ive heard it will.

Does the internal hard drive bay just unscrew and come out without any hassel??

oh and one more thing... it may be a silly question but im not a big fan of the lian li badge on the front, is it just stuck on? could i just pull it off and replace it with something else?

My friend's PC6070 (PC60 with a door) side panels fit perfectly on to my PC7, since they're the same chassis, so I believe the PC60 window would fit fine.

In fact, I remember seeing the windows for sale as "PC6x and PC7 Replacement Side Panel with Window".

The internal HDD cage doesn't come out without drilling out two rivets. I'm a tad confused on why they used two screws and two rivets, perhaps yewen can shed some light...

It's not a hard operation if you've got access to a nice stable pillar drill.

As for the badge on the front, it comes with a plastic protective (LCD-like) sticker that peeled off nicely when I tried, but it looks like the underlying sticker is permenant. I haven't really tried, and I expect you can get it off somehow.

Might need a little encouragement though.

I know the pc7se can do it but I have not used a modern pc7+ so I can't comment exactly on it.

Report back if you would for future reference, you know someone else is going to ask ;)

cheers for the replys guys, all sounds pretty good to me apart from the front badge... hopefully it is just stuck on and perhaps a hairdryer would persuade it to peel off :p

i would but i think the green looks abit out of place! If it were the black v1000/2000 badge i wouldnt have a problem but the silver and green stands out way too much on the black case for my liking!

I was thinking exactly the same thing, it should have been done in black and silver or even cut into the metal, would have looked a lot better.
