some pics from cambridge with XZ-1

while I'm deciding on what DSLR to get, I took my dads xz-1 compact to cambridge. I'm quite pleased with the results.Thoughts on these appreciated.

Taken in RAW and converted in Lightroom 4.I havent a clue what im doing in Lightroom but I'm sure I will get the hang of it

Not sure how long you have been into phtographer but th compositions are already pretty good for a beginner.

I really like th second photo.

I have had a few cameras over the years. I have sold them because of lack of time and money.Then regretted it and ended up buying another: quite a few times over.

This time round I'm sticking with it

I've always liked street photography. The max focal length of the xz-1 is only 112mm and I wasn't brave enough on this trip to take some of the shots I wanted :eek:

I think the second is my favourite as well

I agree, 2nd shot is amazing!

Great range of pictures! Always preferred black & white pics.

The 2nd shot doesn't have as much impact in colour. BW definitely looks better.
Im thinking of getting the 2nd shot, put on a canvas for my hall way.

The more I look at number Pic 2 the more i like it. what would be the best place to get canvass done? I looked at photobox seem ok anyone had one done ?
