Paper straws. Got a thick milkshake or frappe and one straw doesn’t last. So two straws!

Tinsel. We have paper tinsel on sale at work and it looks bloody awful. Think vomit on a tree looks better.

Plastic wrappers removed from certain things makes them more damaged.

Anything else you can think of which being plastic free means ****

Paper straws, that are then wrapped in plastic........I never quite understood that.

Actually we are pretty to terrible in the UK for this, I mean packaging in general, you go across Europe and most countries have better solutions for a lot of little things like this.

No doubt some shareholder somewhere with his hand up the backside of an MP is making a fortune at the expense of the environment.

Straws, try a metal one. My OH uses them and actually prefers them.

Tinsel. Tacky useless stuff no matter what it's made of.

Plastic wrappers? Not sure what on, can't say I've noticed.

I see cling film being mentioned. Not used that for years, we use glass storage jars for stuff. Admittedly they have solid plastic clip on lids but they're not throwaway.

Trying to think of plastic stuff that's gone that I miss tbh.
