That was pretty scary at the end, he really did well to slow that down, could see it dancing about under braking.

As Janesy said, these are designed for the Pikes Peak race, here's probably the best known clip of this - Ari Vatanen driving a Peugeot 405 T16. I love the bit at 3:27 where he's shielding his eyes from the sun and driving it one-handed. :eek:

I think its running the rev3+ 3S-GTE family of engine out of the MR2/Celica. Obviously seriously race tuned. The engine was used quite a lot in Toyota motorsport

Not sure what's bigger, Rod's massive cojones, the huge turbo or the colossal plank in the RR. Imagine the carnage if Rod hadn't stalled!

Scary machine, I was terrified watching it never mind trying to pilot it. I'd still have a go at an airfield though

Damn that looks like so much of a handful. I've always maintained that good rally drivers are probably the best drivers in the world, and to tame that beast you'd have to be.
