Some questions.

I finished my new build on Friday, but sadly I haven't been able to get it to work. When I turn the system on I'm faced with a blank screen and no signal going to my monitor. All fans turn on, hard drive sounds like it's active, lights on graphics card light up fine, lights on motherboard light up fine, lights on fans turn on fine. I've tried lots of things to fix it, different monitors, on-board graphics, resetting the CMOS, I've even made the effort to entirely restart the build 3 times, but still no success.

I've been thinking that maybe it's a CPU or RAM problem, but since my case didn't include a speaker, I can't tell if the system is POSTing or not...

Here are my specs:

ASUS M3A78-T Motherboard,
AMD Phenom 2 920 Quad Core Processor,
OCZ 4GB RAM (OCZ2G10664GK),
Sapphire HD 4870,
Samsung Spinpoint 1TB Hard Drive,
Corsair 650w PSU,
Antec 900 Case,

I've heard that the BIOS version the motherboard is shipped with doesn't support the CPU, and also that the RAM is not supported, although I've read posts that say the combination will work fine...

So I really need to ask a few questions:

1. With no CPU and/or RAM, would the system give any display at all?
2. Is it possible to buy a speaker that will plug into the motherboard? If so where can I get one?
3. Is there anything else you could suggest to try?
 
Had a simular problem on my one of my builds i had a blank screen and a message saying no signal my problem was with the ram try using just 1 stick see if any thing happens then try the other one. hope this helps.
