Long story short, one of the printers is playing up so I want to share the one connected to my PC.
My PC runs XP SP2, as does the downstairs PC. Mine connects wirelessly to a Belkin router and the downstairs one connects to it via a wire.
I ran the 'Home or Small Office network wizard' on both PCs setting the Workgroup name to 'WORKGROUP' on both machines.
Now when I view the workgroup from my PC, I can see my PC and the downstairs one listed. On the Downstairs PC I see neither.
If I double click on the Downstairs PC from mine, it says I don't have access.
I get the same error but without the '\\Name' part when I just look at the Workgroup on the downstairs PC.
Why will they not talk to each other?
