Just got back from a few days in London (*not my favourite* city, but lots to do).
Anyway, here's a few of the shots I've managed to process from RAW format and give some attention to so far, more to come if you're interested ;)

Big ol' Ben

Millenium Bridge and a rather sorry looking St Pauls.... (not at all happy with the processing on this, but can't decide. Will start afresh from RAW later)

0002.jpg

Random's in Hyde Park. Slackers tbh

That wheel thing ;) Wanted to try something vaguely original with the London Eye, but failed. Alas. I processed it anyway

Monkeys! London Zoo was ace! So far this is the only photo Ive processed fully from there, but I have an ace shot Pelican somewhere too...

The only night shot I've processed so far, taken down at Trafalgar Square. It's not great, but was an easy one to work out the best settings to export with.

Anyway, that'll do for now. I'll get back to processing more in the next few days when I have some time.

It really gets my goat when I see people say that. London is a world class city but so many people take it for granted. As with every city in the world it has it's problems but it's the problems that give these places its character and as a photographer I find it offers us much better opportunities than a 'perfect' town, if there is such a thing. Accept the fact that it's not perfect and you'll enjoy it a lot more.

As for the photos I like the one of Big B...*ahem* St Stephens Tower. Makes a nice change to see something a bit different with that. The monkey one is good too. I love that new enclosure at London Zoo but they do zip about quite fast. You've got a good one there and I like the way you've processed it.

Thanks very much. The new enclosure at the Zoo is indeed fantastic. Took awhile to get that shot (think I stood around for a good 30mins :S) but those monkeys are great fun to watch running about :)
As for the processing, I'm glad someone commented on it. I know it's hardly cutting edge stuff, but I'm really enjoying playing with selective colouring/highlighting at the moment.

As for London:

Couldn't put it better myself. It's a fantastic place to visit and photograph, and I throughly enjoyed myself.

Good to hear, sorry if I misread your meaning :o I always get a bit defensive 'cause I love the place. I spent today taking photos around Kensington/Hyde Park and then a few more touristy areas like Buckingham palce and Leicester Square. I don't think I've got much to show for it though but it was quite interesting getting a close up of a swan in Hyde park with my 10-20mm. I couldn't be bothered to change the lens so I had to get really close and then saw the headlines about the birdflu. :/. If you don't hear from me soon you know what's happenned.

Its you! Hey didn't no you browsed these forums. Anyway I agree Londons a horrid place by nice shots. Link to the website of yours. I think it will interest people.
