Howdy people.

I am moving into a new flat and so sold my pc recently as I have no room for a desk setup where im moving too, I was thinking of getting a laptop but then thought I could get a small shuttle and hook it up to my tv, so it wouldn't need a desk and could be with stuck in the tv stand.

I just wanted to know what is the highest spec PC I can get from a shuttle, I know they are limited by the heat issues. But can you get high spec c2d in them or even quads? Also graphics cards could you get an 8800gtx in there?

I want as good as I can get really so if someone could spec me a high end shuttle that will all fit and work, thanks a lot.

Personally i'd wait for the P35 Shuttles, but if you must buy today i'd take the SG33G5B as it's based off the G33 chipset, which is quite similar to the P35.

Beyond that, it's really your choice. The cooling system can handle a Quad and a GTX, or you can take something more modest.

just keep in mind that you can only fit duel slot gfx cards into P or P2 shuttles. while the g5 shuttles are a bit better looking and slightly smaller gfx upgrads are limited. we are soon to be getting some single slot high end cards though :P

How come?

It looks to me like there are 2 available slots - sure the PCI slot would be consumed but I don't see why you can't get a dual slot card into the case?

isnt that a reference to the fact that non p/p2 series have graphics slot on opposite side and ususally its the outer slot that is pci-e

therefore a dual slot card wont physically fit
