would the 3.5 mm be a stereo or mono jack ??
the pc is 10 metres away from the amp so some extension would be needed
the only spare input on the amp is the line in which is rated at 200mv @ 40k ohms ,which is the same input level as the cd tuner and tape deck inputs.
would the pc sound line out be at this level as nothing is quoted in the manual
i am trying to find something on the m*pl**s site(ocuk dont appear to have a suitable cable)
do i need a sound card or is onboard audio alright for this
sorry for al the questions as i dont want to bust anything
cheers

looks like a trip to the starred out place for 3.5mm stereo jack to two phono plugs splitter and a couple of 5m extensions.
how much of an improvement would a sound card give ??
thanks for all the input
