some stalker questions

hi all,

just bought stalker on impulse and liking it so far,looks beautiful on maxed ;)
ive got some questions tho??

what does the number on the mini-map mean???

how do i throw a hand grenade?? lol
 
number on minimap is IIRC how many other stalkers are within a certain radius to you, ie, other people within say 100-200 metres of you.

Not sure on the hand grenade, thought it would just be a case of selecting it and throwing, but its been ages since I played.

Its a great game, I nearly completed it but it got too hard on the last level, am thinking of replaying it now there has been a few patches and I want to take my time on it this go round.

If you havent been in the underground areas then you are in for a treat ;)
 
heh nah i aint been there yet, only just got past the first anomality thing (lighting in tunnel) ive just patched mine up to 1003 but now it just wont load at all, so i think im gonna have to revert to 1001 with a nocd patch (i have bought the game mind u)

bingo, simple as that.

As for the number it shows the number of stalkers near you, both friend, neutral and foe. HOWEVER beware it does not show mutants, which can mean a nasty surprise :D

Nope you need to start a new game, stay with the 1.3 patch though. It says in the release notes you need to....
