Just had a call from my girlfriend, and some **** has just forced her off the road and left her with a huge chunk out of her front tyre where she had to mount the kerb to avoid a head on.
I'm really quite ****ed off because i'm hundreds of miles away at the moment so i've been trying to talk her through changing her wheel to put the spare on, she tells me the tyre is all the way through to the webbing and feels really flimsy, so i've told her not to drive it. She's putting on a spacesaver spare at the moment to get home with.
I'm looking for some 195/50/R15 (82V) tyres, as she wants to replace both fronts at once.
Looking at blackcircles they offer fitted and delivered - is the fitted a service they do, ie. come to your house and fit the tyres or is it arranged garages? edit - just seen it's garages
Also, what other sites should I be looking at for tyres?
She's in a small village in Cornwall atm and I suspect the local garage won't have the best range of tyres ever and I don't want her driving miles on a spacesaver spare to get to somewhere bigger if it can be avoided.
Some help in finding a good solution to get the tyres replaced would be appreciated guys
