hi guy, just want a bit on advice on what I have purchased to water cool my system, doing it for the first time, this is what I have bought so far:
EK supremacy EVO cpu block
EK 780TI full cover waterblock
EK coolstream PE 240

what I want to know is what I have bought sufficient?, also I'm stuck on what pump/ reservoir to get for this looking at http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-415-EK&groupid=962&catid=2141 or http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=WC-319-EK&groupid=962&catid=2141, which one is better? should I buy a bigger reservoir?

thanks in advance

Personally I would go with more rad space as the 780ti is going to put out a fait bit of heat alone. I would choose the 2nd link to, the D5 beats the DDC with performance and noise levels.

For cooling CPU and GPU a decent quality 240 radiator should be sufficient, but if you intend to overclock then a 360 would give you better temps. As far as res/pump goes both of those you linked to are considered pretty much the best pumps for PC WC'ing, which one you go for and what size res is dependent on amount of room in your case, a bigger res will make bleeding the loop easier so IMO you should go for the biggest res that will fit, either pump will serve you well but if space is an issue then the DDC is smaller.

The case description in the link states the case can house 2x280 rads so I'd go with that, seeing as you already have a decent 240 you should use that and add a 280 or another 240 which would then provide plenty of cooling headroom to reduce fan speeds and have a nice cool and quiet rig.

As far as the res goes I personally prefer the large tube style res, I've used single and dual bay res's in the past but always found them less efficient at keeping the loop air free, especially single bay type, that could just be me though and my poor loop bleeding skills! I'm sure the pump/res combo you linked to would be fine if that's what you prefer aesthetically.

Ah yes i forgot that i can fit a 280 on the top, i think ill get a 280 and that should allow me to keep the fan speed quite low, ive decided on the ek ddc pump as i can get the heatsink for it to make it look better, ill just have to measure it up and see how much space is left for the reservoir
