Some Wedding shots

Went to a beautifull wedding on saturday! ( as a guest )
took my 20d along, and snapped away!

Click Me < are a couple of dodgy shot i should really take out!

but most importantly, the food was superb!

Not bad

The register signing photos could have done with the rear curtains being closed – The bright highlights distract from the main subjects.

was using my 18-200mm tamron, and my 50mm 1.8, which is an awesome lens!

and i hate flash! so only the first dance pic used it, as i had to.

yea the lighting was pretty tricky in that room!

Candid style, I'm sure they will like those more than the majority of the pro ones too because they hold more of a personal value to everyone that was there =)

I'm shooting a wedding with 2 other workmates of mine this saturday, 2 of us are actually helping out a colleague as backups to get the fill in type stuff but I'm looking forward to it, first time to use some tele in a wedding ¬_¬

They are really good wedding shots, a lot better than most pro shots of weddings I've seen. I tried to do a similar kind of 'reportage' style myself at the last two weddings I've been to. First one I was quite pleased with what I got, second one was appaling as it was all indoors and I only had my standard lens and like you I hate using flash if I can avoid it. I didn't get anything anywhere near as good as you got there though.

Always good to give some shots to the couple that are doine by friends and family..get a totally different perspective.

That's exactly the sort of thing I like in a set of wedding pictures. Do the formal stuff yes, but add this in for a great personal touch. Lovely.
