Hello all.
Im trying to build a computer for under £1000 that can smoothly run most of the programs in Adobe CS5, and similar video editing software.
Hows this?

as mentioned i'd pay the bit extra for the i5 750 quad core.

whats the idea behind the 160gb 5400rpm hard drive ?

rest looks fine

Agree with going with the I7 750 CPU, I would spent a few pound extra and get the Samsung F3 500gb.

i admit i probably over did it for the 160gb 5400rpm, but the basic idea is that that hard drive holds the OS etc.

the second one holds everything else.

thinking about it 160gb is probably too much for it, but im interested in you opinion.

Thanks so far for the help guys!!!

Just get rid of the 160GB drive. At 5400rmp it's only going to slow down the performance of the PC! Install the OS on the 1TB and scrap the 160GB, you'll get better performance.
Then spend the saved money upgrading to an i5 750 and perhaps some 1600MHz RAM for increased overclocking potential.
