Hi there,

Out of the loop with the monitor market so was looking for some help. My 34" ultrawide is great, but for work I think I need to switch back to a normal aspect ratio. Hence I'm interested to see what is the cheapest monitor I can get that has:

- Size is 32" or bigger
- Resolution is at least 3840x2160
- Has in-built speakers
- Refresh rate is at least 100hz

What is the cheapest monitor I can get that matches these requirements?

cheapest I can see on ocuk is this

£659

Cheapest in stock is this (also IPS vs VA panel which I prefer personally and the speakers are 5w vs 3 on the gigabyte so potentially a bit better, but you'd still be better off with a cheap set of external speakers)

£759

What kidn work are you going to use it for and do you always maintain normal room illumination?

If you maintain room illumination, IPS is the most consistent performer of panel types.
