Someone is attacking my computer as I type. Advice Please

Every 3 or so minutes Kaspersky is telling me it has blocked incoming transmitions containing a Backdoor Trojan. It's comming from different IPs.

What's the best thing I can do? Shall I switch my router off for a few minutes and get a new IP address from the router?

If it was me i would disconnect from the internet and do a full system scan.

Indeed.

Not wanting to sound overly condescending but that's the obvious solution. It isn't rocket science. If you don't have a scan program, grab adaware or spybot ASAP and then disconnect.

If you reboot your router it probably wouldnt do much, even if you did get a new IP address.

Update your AV and spyware programs. Disconnect from the net and go scan crazy.
