someone pick me a psu

right lads, need a good psu too power a gtx ,c2d at over 3gzh, 2 burners, 4 harddrives, sound card, mouse keyboard, quite a few usbs around 10, printers joypads scanner etc...

basically when i stress the gtx in 3dmark 06 it bottoms out after 1min, really think its the psu.. want one pretty quite, possible modular doesnt really matter as its well hid in a eclipse, decent connections i.e pci-express stuff and good reliability. hit me with a few good examples please and possibly ones that they know work on a gtx

What have you got now? ...also what printer and scanner do you have? Do they power solely from the PC?

http://www.******.co.uk/Module.aspx?TabID=1&ModuleNo=97107&doy=24m10 this one, powered the 1950xtx but not the gtx, just restarts if the game inst capped on the frames like fifa and quake wars, if i try and play medal of honour it just restarts the computer after a few seconds. printers are just the r200 and r300 and a epson scanner

(The HX520 powers all in my sig + a number of extra fans and USB devices with zero problems.)

Looks like the filter picked up the brand....

A Corsair 620W should do the job, depends on how much you plan to spend, as they are a little pricy IMO.

erk, only 16A on the 12V rails? o.O (On that one you linked to.) Yeah, I'd go for one with 18A on there.

Yeah, Corsair I'd definitely go with. I reckon the HX620 would probably handle GTX in SLI...

HX520 handles one (@638\1000) without any issues.
