I was going to make some scrambled egg quickly, and I break an egg into a bowl (1 handed off course:p), and 2 yolks appear!!

how common is this for a hen to lay twins as it were? I don't think this has happened to me before...

Also on a cookery related note, the recipe says 2 eggs, but I've only used 1 but got 2 yolks :D

OK, *** THE HELL, I'M GETTING SCARED NOW!!

Just broke another egg into the bowl so I'd have 3 essentially, and another 2 yolks come out!? End of the world, apocalypse is here.

By any chance, did you buy a pack of double yolkers, or extra large eggs?

happens, fairly often, we tend to buy extra large eggs. Have no idea how often it happens, I rarely cook the egg's myself. I dunno, a guess, one in every 10-20 eggs will be a double. At a guess if you get a double yolk, you're more likely to get another one in that pack as its more likely to be from same chicken which is more prone to doubles?

Either way, don't freak out, its NOT the sign of an apocolypse.(not the first sign anyway :p).
