I've just got back to my flat after the Easter Break and I'm pretty sure there's something dodgy going on in the hotel next door. The picture below is taken from the kitchen window on the first floor. My flatmate who's been there the whole time I was away says it's been there a few days and yesterday someone was about to bring it in but saw my flatemate eating his breakfast and took off.

Seeing as they've seen my flatmate we're a bit reluctant to report it to anyone. Suggestions as to what to do / what the hell is going on?

Are we just being paranoid?

Sorry about pic quality, it's from my phone through a closed window

Phone the hotel?

Like I said, they've seen my friend and they know we're the only people who know it's there. We don't really want any hassle.

We can't decide if it's something that's actually serious and worth reporting or if we're just being paranoid and the hotel guest doesn't trust the maids.

Stop being paranoid, you're not Jack Bauer.!

Phone the desk at the hotel, if it's reasonably large they should have a security dude to talk to, you don't have to give your name.

I think you should proceed with a controlled explosion.
Probably a better idea. Bomb squad are probably still in bed at this hour on a Sunday. Can't be that hard anyway, can it?

report anything suspicious to the police. And THAT's suspicious.

I reckon money or drugs.

MONEY!!!! get it down keep it :) u never know what you could have on your desk or outside your house tomorrow :) ( that means cars or mint pc )

I don't think there's any way of getting to it. The window doesn't open and it's the pipe is above a flat roof which I can't get on to. I'd need a 25' long pole to reach it.
