Chaps,

My EVGA G2 blew last Saturday, was a full hard shut down, couldn't reboot etc etc - RMA'd it and got the replacement unit yesterday.

Now odd things are happening.

I have to push the Start button twice before the Post beep. The first push gets the fans spinning and the LED's on, after about 3 seconds I have to push it again for the GPU and SSD's etc to start booting, it's only then that I get the post beep.

On shutdown, I click start>shut down and again, the screen goes off but the fans still spin and the GPU remains on but no signal to the screen. From this I can't do anything other than turn the PSU off at the back for it too fully shutdown.

I've tried shutdown.exe /s /t 5 - too see if that does anything different but nope, does a partial shutdown.

It's a bit strange and not something I have come across before.

Win10 64bit - 4790K - Gigabyte SOC F7 Bios, nothing OC's except XMP for the RAM, without XMP still has the same issue.

Any help or ideas greatly received. I've done the normal Googlefoo but most of the result pertain to laptop issues.

Yeah first thing I did was reset all default options. Still didn't change anything.

Haven't tried a CMOS reset, maybe I'll try that next.
