Since I've changed my clutch cable I've stalled the bike a few times. But on the back of that when going to start the bike up straight away I've found the starter motor sounding like its struggling to turn and turning about half the normal speed.

If it's left for 5 secs or so and tried again it seems ok. Any ideas what might be causing this? It had the battery swapped out when I bought it a few months ago, but saying that I don't know if the battery was new. The bike is also running an alarm but the battery has never been drained and the bike never goes more than 2 days without a ride.

It's worth checking all the high current connections, i.e. battery -ve to frame, battery +ve to solenoid, solenoid to starter. Check for corrosion within the terminal crimp, and then undo all connections and check the surfaces are all bright and clean.

If this was the case wouldn't it be a constant issue? I'll certainly look though

Its an OEM part, but it did come from the bay.

Most of the time I have to start it up straight after the engine stops I'm in gear with the clutch in.

If I go to the bike after work, the starter motor doesnt struggle and starts without issue. Thats with the clutch out and in N
