OK I now have the 7600GT card installed and thanks for the recommendation but for example in firefox where it used to be a cream colour it is now a sort of light pink

This only happened after I started using the new graphics card.

The border bit of this box that I'm typing in now is light pink but the rest of the forum looks normal.

That's odd. I'd uninstall the drivers, run drivercleaner, then install them again as a first step to finding out what's wrong.

Maybe you havent installed the latest nVidia drivers? 91.31

I had noise bars on my monitor when I installed the drivers from the CD.

Then I installed the latest drivers and they disappeared

I've updated my drivers but that hasn't changed anything. Should I remove all my drivers then?

I think it must be a windows setting that is wrong but I'm not sure.

Just letting you know i went in to the Nvidia control centre and changed the desktop colours and it's back to normal now

Yey, congratulations. I was worrying for a moment there as the Geforce7 series have been known to have a very high failure rate, but I'm glad it's not come to that.

So am I as it's been a good card so far apart from this issue
