Something wrong with PC :S

Basically what happens is once I turn it on I can listen to music for like 10 minutes, after that nothing works to do with sound, I try to play videos they don't play, when I try to play music it doesn't work, and try on itunes it freezes and doesn't respond and I get no sound through speakers either? what the hell, it's been doing it for about a week now. Cheers.

Take the sound card out and try using on board sound. If it all works then its either a faulty sound card or more likley a driver issue. Have you installed anything recently or updated anything?

Hrm I've installed a lot so it's hard to tell I'll try updating the drivers and see what happens then I'll take it out. Cheers.
