Recently ordered the components for a new PC and got it all installed yesterday.
Everything is connected properly and when I hook it all up and turn it on everything seems to power on correctly. But I dont get any signal from my monitor. Everything seems to be getting power but theres just no response.

After trying a few different monitors, rechecking all of my connections and trying everything I could think of I still get no response.
So i'm thinking my CPU is borked.
Its an Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.40GHz.
Motherboard is an Abit Fatal1ty FP-IN9 SLi nForce 650 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard.
Gfx card is a BFG GeForce 8800 GTS OC2 640MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express).

Before I contact OC and ask for a replacement CPU, is there anything else it could possibly be?

Ok, got home and retested everything.
Realised there was no PC speaker installed so we ripped one out of an old PC and connected it.
The beeps told us it was an issue with the video card, so we took another video card from another machine and tried it, same result.
So we took my new graphics and put it in the other PC, it booted up fine.

So now we're thinking its the PCI-E slot on the motherboard.
So i'm going to contact OC when they're open and ask for a replacement. The problem I now face is that the chip is already in the motherboard and i'm a bit edgy about removing it.
