Is there an app that would read through and entire HD to ensure it can be read?
I've had 5 corrupted files out of 1TB of data which may or may not be signs of a hard-disk failure as 950 out of 955Gb copied perfectly off it!!
Basically I'd like an app that when run will do the simple thing of reading all the files off the HD to memory or maybe another HD to verify that the file can actually be fully read.
The files on this HD arn't important in the scheme of things but they would be a utter pain to have to replace! This app would allow me to monitor the HD so if more files become corrupt it means I have to RMA the drive.
