After my horrid experiance of London, I'm thinking of going on a break somewhere in the UK for a couple of days. Perferably not to far from Bristol. Just looking to relax and chill.

Anyone got any suggestions, I dont have a current passport so other than the UK I'm stuck (can I fly to the EU with my drivers lisence?)

Thanks in advance :)

Technically you should be able to, but no you can't.

How about somewhere nice in Scotland?

What type of trip?

Not too far from Bristol...how about the North Devon Coast? Spent most of my childhood holidays there, so my desire to go back now is limited, but it's good for relaxation and scenery. And fudge.

Padstow? If so, GO. You won't regret it.

Cornwall is lovely and shouldn't be *that* bad at this time of the year. If you don't go soon though schools will start to break for the summer..

There is also a fudge shop if you are into that kind of thing. :p
There are several - one round the back had a cute girl serving if I remember correct. Also nice ice cream shop on the front.

Ah screw it, I'm gonna go.

I love Pembrokeshire, Wales.. its absolutely gorgeous there..

There isn't a city in the whole county.. its like a massive national park, unspoilt!

Miles of beaches all over the place!

thanks lads,

Looking to go at the end of next week, nothing like a bit of last minute planning.

Beech & good chippy make it sound like a good retreat!! Might even leave the laptop at home and be OCUK free for a few days
