My Sonata II case has developed a high pitched whining sound - I think from the PSU (hear it even when PC is off and PSU left switched on at rear). Don't know if its an 'about to die' noise. It's not really annoying yet but constant.
Presume theres nothing to be done about it other than change the PSU. Anyone know how the warranty works on these/duration of warranty? Also, is it worth getting it warranty swapped or put another/better PSU in? If so any ideas on a good replacement that won't need special cables etc? Mobo is an Asus A8N-e.
My usage is mostly gaming, but don't overclock and tend not to have the real latest graphics etc .
