But what song was playing near the start where he's looking at the radar screen.

Not sure about that, LD50 is a good album and The End of All Things to Come has several good songs. Everything after that is forgetable. Ryan Martinies bass playing on LD50 keeps the album above most of the other Nu-Metal albums from the early 00's.

I remember watching that film and doing the exact same thing as you Glaucus, found out who it was and listened to all their stuff!

Recommend the album that it's on though! Quite enjoyed it
