Anyone using songbird on Linux? I'd much rather be using Foobar but since I have used Songbird in the past on windows I thought I'd try it. Comments?

There aren't any native Linux audio players which can touch foobar2000 IMO, but Songbird isn't bad in its own way, and I prefer it to rhythmbox, banshee, amarok, exaile, quod libet... the main drawback is its sluggishness, particularly when you point it at a very large music collection. It does seem to perform better in this respect than the Windows version though.

foobar2000 runs well enough under Wine, but to me running anything under Wine always seems an unsatisfying experience, and foobar2000 is no exception.
Yes I'm used to songbirds sluggishness from windows so that wouldn't really be a problem.

Going to have to learn how to use Wine properly when I get the time to sit down with it.
