I got this game for the Mrs this xmas and she quite likes it. Personally i think it suffers from the same thing as mario strikers, repetitive cut scenes when you just wanna try the event again. Having to reselect characters etc.

Anyway due to live being dead last night I decided to have a game with her. Some questions....

Whats the deal with records only being saved in single player. When I go to the records/medals after we have played 2 player none are there, but if we play SP the scores update.

Also How do you unlock the circuits? We played through them last night and lots of them are left locked with a ????????

All we really want is all the vents unlocked so we can play 2 player against each other and the leaderboards update so we know whose got the highest score.

Also when you load up your game save you can only load up one name, so even if I set the record the leaderboard would have her name against the score???

Any help? Would be nice because then it would stop us arguing over who actually set the fastest times :D

i have no idea what so ever how to unlock things, and to be honest i'm the same as you, only want to unlock them so the 2 player is more fun :p

You need to play through the events in single player to unlock events and set records - sucks, I agree, although it'd be much easier to unlock everything if you had two (upwards) playing.

Be aware, also, that the separate profiles have separate records and events. I think this has something to do with registering your name on the Wifi leaderboard. I'm in the top 9000 for hurdles, lol.

It annoys me that you can't set records and single events or in multiplayer, but overall I've found it an excellent and enjoyable game - particularly the table tennis.

Cheers guys, that sucks bottom to be fair. Its a multiplayer game and you have to play SP to record high scores and unlock extra events.

Booooo

Oh your so competitive Danny :p

My girlfriend got this for Xmas, good little game!

Damn straight, we were playing golf last night and I was whupping her for 8 holes. 4 shots up until the 9th. The game cheated me. No wind and it said I would make the green with a 3-4 strength shot. Which I played perfectly almost max strength and the ball bounced off the cliff face. Didn't even make it despite more strength than needed.

It cheated me. She made the loser sign and I quit in a strop.

Its about 10 years since we played that sega saturn olympics game together and she still goes on about her untouchable 400 metres time.

Games that need to be played in single player mode to unlock multi-player content need to die in a fire.

I agree, I quite liked mario party apart from you had to put up with all that cruddy game to unlock the party games. In the end I didnt bother and sent it back.

The olympics game should be the model multiplayer game yet they screwed up the obvious stuff.

whats with this and females?

"I got this game for the Mrs this xmas and she quite likes it."

"My girlfriend got this for Xmas, good little game!"

"I played one game with my daughter,"

"in fairness my sister got this for xmas and on xmas day we only played MP, "

We've got this game and are yet to unlock anything
We've set records in loads of events but still nothing, must only be singleplayer which is crap

My god it tires you out though, doing the sprints etc

is the DS version going to be a 'smaller scaled' version - ie still have the events, but different controls

or is it going to be cut? - im not sure what the Wii > DS conversion attempts are like
