cant believe how my fps goes down in fantastic quality mode lol - I thought my setup would walk it.

stage two is so much easier on the fps.

great game but as said there are no power ups and no extra lives

edit: things are a bit better in full screen mode

Runs fine at full fps tho i didnt know the actual number it had not lag or stutter to see when playing at full settings and 1080p.

very true...........it would be a pity if this never gets a release as in my opinion its the best sonic game since the originals

I'd love to see the innovation in a full scale remake of one of the Sonic games. I was a bit miffed as to why they were using the Hill Top Zone music for Emerald Hill, but that was a minor complaint.

Obviously there were no televisions, lives, or the obligatory stats run down at the end, but other than that... Damn, my jaw dropped from the beginning of the first level and didn't recline until just after the beginning of the second.

Just played, looks awesome, I would rather just play it without any enemies, I like to just run with my Sonic really fast without getting knocked by enemies every 10 seconds.

So true! Maybe if it zoomed out a bit when you went really fast to give you more time to anticipate whats coming up ahead.

Without doubt an extremely well done fan made remix.

My only minor gripe is that it all seems a bit overcrowded as the bad guys seem to blend in with everything when you start picking up speed so trying to figure out what is a bad guy and a background object becomes a chore.
That is probably a poor way to describe it but i think some of you guys will know what i mean and it is 3 in the morning lol.

Still it is probably one of the best fan made conversions i have ever seen.

Christ almighty game devs really are stupid at the moment. Why not encourage this instead of instantly taking a free trial game down..

Wicked Sick!!. Sega got pawned at their own original creation lol. I remember playing sonic 2 15 years ago and this brings back so many memories. 15 years later and WoW!!!.

Amazing. Shame on sega for not releasing this themselves. Sonic unleashed was possibly the worst game i have ever had the misfortune to instantly bin.
