Sons XBOX Gamertag changed by itself?

This is a weird one. My sons gamertag has changed by itself. I've looked online and they say if it breaches the rules Microsoft can change it and add a strike to your account (seen under xbox enforcement site). I've checked this, and it says "congratulation your account is clean"

Any ideas?

We can change it back to what it was, but Microsoft want £7.99 :rolleyes:

Oh god I hope not. I'll have to change his password, but it's not one anyone would easily guess.

He's in bad books!! I contacted Microsoft, they looked into his account and found out that he did try and change it.

THEN my son owns up and tells me the truth, that he wanted agent terror and messed up.

I learnt from my first ever job (Virgin mobile CSA) that whenever kids are involved, they did it. "No my son didn't subscribe to a ringtone service I have no idea why I'm getting these messages :rolleyes:
