I was at my Mum and Dad's house today and noticed the Sony 55W829 I recommended them had around 10-15 dead pixels. They were all black, around 8 of them were on the same horizontal line. These weren't there before, they have died since the TV has been in use.
They have a John Lewis warranty and they normally bend over backwards to help. What could cause this problem? They haven't really noticed it but it was very noticeable to me.
