Interested to see what improvements they bring to compete with Canon and Nikon

I have not seen any news about it but I expect it will be much like the A1 MK 1, with some tweaks, a faster processor, maybe a better LCD and EVF, a few better video specs, possibly better battery life, deeper buffer, improved AF and claim of some new AI wizardry.
Several little improvements rather than big changes or upgrades.
Not that impressed to be honest - barely any different, in theory it should be able to do 8k 60 video if you want that - but currently it doesn't.
Still same 50mp sensor, still 30fps, faster AF, auto subject detection - if I had an A1, not worth the upgrade IMO.
The problem with the mk1 is there isn't really much that needed improving. I still feel like the back screen isn't as versatile as the a77 mk2's screen, and the AI-AF is nice but largely unexciting.Very Lacklust upgrade. More like a side step....
It feels as if 2/3 of these updates could have been implemented via a firmware update on the A1 mk1
