I've started to experience some of the infamous problems that are associated with the connect software that came with my A3000. Taking ages to do anything, hanging etc. Anyone know any other software out there that can transfer music to my A3000; or failing that, a way to "fix" connect? Cheers.

Hello and Welcome to the club.
What Ive been doing and what semms to work for me is that then i first got my NWA3000 I put all the music i want on it over a Saturday night. And now if i hav any music i want to put on it i do it on a Friday night, it seems to work for my, the only problems ive incountered is that it takes too god dam long, adn that it sometimes crashes but Im gettin used to it so it doesnt bother me. I havnt let the software get on top of me, ive got on top of the software.
Also I dont know any other software u could use sorry.

SonicStage 3.4 is actually not bad and will work with your walkman and is a better prog!

Just a heads up to say that there's a new version of Connect, 1.04 out - link. Sony haven't emailed people about this ... yet.
Sony have stopped supporting Connect and are going to release an upgraded version of SonicStage instead. Basically, connect was a disaster. No idea about the new version, but since the project has been officially abandoned I wouldn't hold out much hope.
