Good afternoon everyone,

I'm about to go traveling and have just got myself a A6000 with the kit lens and 55-210mm.

Now I just want to get some bits for it to make sure it survives the experience but the market seems to be flooded with things. So are there any products that you'd personally recommend?

I've been looking at getting a silicone bish case if I'm doing anything a bit tougher. I've had my eye on the Sony LCS-E body case but it seems pricey for what it is. I'll also be getting myself a back up battery, bag and filters for both lenses.

Is there anything else I'm missing?

Thanks a lot!

Get several batteries and an external charger. The NP-FW50 will discharge quickly if left in the camera and a bit less so when out.
A screen protector is also a good idea.
A rocket blower so you can clean the worst of the dust off the sensor after changing lenses in the field.

Ah thanks for that, you reminded me that I have a rocket blower that I had forgotten about.

I've been looking at batteries for a while but can't seem to find any without quite a high amount of terrible reviews! Ha.
