Sony Alpha SLT-A58 Lens Kit

I am thinking of replacing my sony a200 slr with a new sony A58.
Not looking to goto another brand due to my lenses I currently have.

What are your thoughts on the sony SLT cameras?

They are fine and it will be a nice upgrade from your A200 with some of the more modern features.

They're fine, the more recent ones are getting very good with their EVFs etc. but generally I'd recommend trying them out in a store first because some people really can't get used to them. In recent times I've been less focused on that because generally manufacturers are getting very good, Sony in particular.

Google "Kris Williams Penmon" - Kris uses a Sony (full frame I think) for his landscape shots. They are very sharp and vibrant. Many talk about noise levels in low lighting, but Kris shoots fantastic star trails with his Sony.
