Sony and Panasonic 2010 Range

Definitely interested in the new sony series but they are so overpriced its not funny.

Phoned up about the KDL-60LX903 60"LCD and was told February but this set is going to be too expensive, my guess is £4500-£6000 price range.

Better option is KDL-60EX703 which hopefully is much cheaper but still 60".

Or just don't bother the overpriced large screen sony LCDs.

For that money your could pickup a Z1 panasonic or one of their professional screens.

Pretty obvious choice!

I dont want plasma but large LED 60+" lcd since 55" is a little small for the room the tv will go in.

Its either KDL60LX903U £3,500 or KDL60EX703U £2,800 Mar-10 for me, just have to decide if this whole 3D nonsense is worth it or not.

Just in case some people are not already aware, the Panasonic models currently listed on the Panasonic website are the American models and not the European models which tend to be slightly different. For example, the American Panasonic G10 is a THX certified display where the European model is not. If you live in Europe and wanted a THX certified display, you would have to spend the little extra and purchase the Panasonic V10 model which is THX certified.

Panasonic should be releasing details regarding their European 2010 models in February.

I would love a 60" Sony LED. My 40" LED is starting to feel small.

I am not that bothered about 3D, They already have 3D without glasses. I can't see it lasting long but then Avatar is popular so maybe it will catch on.
